In collaboration between the Hanover University of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Maastricht and the manufacturer Hippomed, the ultrasonic inhaler “Air One” was developed specifically for use in horses. A patented process is used here in which not only the particle size of the inhalant but also the ventilation amount is adjusted.
This procedure achieves complete wetting of the deep bronchial area down to the smallest alveoli! Medication, homeopathic additives or saline solution can be inhaled as needed. The "Air One" inhaler has received multiple awards and is now used by over 700 veterinarians and animal clinics.
