Description
Highly elastic, breathable protection for the horse's head, eye area and ears (initially delivered completely without eye cutouts).
Since the special material does not fray and does not form runs, the eye openings can be cut out by the horse owner themselves as required. You can also simply remove the ear protection when not in use.
This protective head mask is ideal for wound care (e.g. after eye surgery) as a sterile wound pad can easily be attached under the elastic material. (product video)
If solid protection for the affected eye is also required, it is possible to combine the VetMedCare protective mask with an eye spacer made of Woodcast material that is attached under the mask. This is not delivered pre-formed, but as a plate and can be individually adapted by the owner to the sick horse and the given problem by heating it. After cooling, the material is as hard as before.
For an even more secure fit, special snap fasteners can be ordered to attach the support or spacer to the mask (pack of 5).
